Surgery
Know what to bring and what to expect on the day of your surgery.
When scheduling surgery, you will be given a tentative time. The day before your surgery, the hospital in which you will be having the procedure will contact you with the exact time you will need to arrive. Generally, you will need to arrive at the hospital a minimum of two hours prior to your surgery.
You should not eat or drink anything after midnight the night before the surgery. You will likely be able to eat whatever you want after your surgery.
Driving a vehicle after your eye surgery is not recommended. Please arrange alternative transportation following surgery.
